The couple behind the lenses
We think you should know who you're hiring. So here's a little more about us.
We've shot weddings and events all over South Africa: Cape Town, George, Oudtshoorn, Johannesburg, KZN and beyond. We had a wedding in Barcelona lined up before Covid cancelled it, then God gave us Koa and Taya instead, which we'll call an upgrade. Now that the kids are a little older, we're travelling further afield again - we have a wedding in Switzerland coming up, with shoots in France and Amsterdam also on the horizon.
Between us, we cover both mediums. Amy is the photographer; Silvino handles film. It's a split that happened naturally, and it means your day is in the hands of two people who know each other completely and move as one.
As for why weddings, Amy says it best: "I love love. I'm a romantic at heart. I love hearing how people met, the challenges they've faced, and how they've come through them together. I want to get to know you as a couple - because your wedding should be a reflection of exactly who you are."
We feel so blessed that this is the work we get to do - and incredibly grateful that we get to do it together.

Silvino spotted Amy singing on stage as a member of the worship team at church, later noticed there was no ring ;) and decided to introduce himself when he got the chance. That was 2015. We got engaged in 2016, married in 2017, and the rest - as they say - is history. Today we're parents to two incredible kids - Koa and Taya - and we've built a life and a business around the thing we love most: telling love stories.
Home is Jeffreys Bay, a surf town on the East coast of South Africa, but always keen for wherever the next wedding takes us.
Amy does this full time - and when she's not behind the camera at a wedding or a lifestyle shoot (or behind a laptop editing), you'll find her outdoors, hosting friends, baking something, or settled into a good coffee shop with a friend. Silvino runs a multimedia studio when he's not filming weddings, and outside of work he enjoys digital art, surfing, fly fishing, camping and kayaking with the kids. Silvino doesn't drink coffee - never has, probably never will. Amy has long since stopped trying. She has chocolate, he has biltong - and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.
